Rewriting the North: Adam Farrer

How do we make sense of a place that's disappearing?
Writer and editor Adam Farrer reflects on the corroding coastline of Withernsea, East Yorkshire, taking us to the spot where seven whales washed up on the beach last year. His new story The Californian is a darkly humorous meditation on survival in one of the fastest eroding places in the UK.
