On September 15, Israel and the UAE signed an agreement at the White House normalizing relations between the two countries. In the eyes of regional experts, this deal and the parallel announcement between Bahrain and Israel, represents a watershed in the history of the Middle East, a moment of real opportunity with significant geopolitical, economic, and social consequences.
