In the first of this two-parter, Alex chats to writer Joel Morris (BBC’s That Mitchell & Webb Look, SKY’s A Touch of Cloth and Radio 4’s Agendum) about writers’ rooms, Framley Examiner and bringing back the Ladybird Books.

Joel also creates a character on the spot based solely on the made-up name given to him by the show’s previous guest in ‘Chain(ge) of Character’. This episode was recorded 18th June 2021.
