Episode Breakdown: Episode 26: Help! I’m Getting Married in Three Months!

Wedding tip: Celina's latest nugget of wisdom involves asking your photographer to take a picture of you with your parents on the day. This is a must-have photo, as far as we're concerned - click here for our full wedding photo checklist!

Main topic: Wedding planning is daunting enough when you've got a year or two to play with. When you've only got a few months, it can be downright overwhelming! But that's where your pals at One Fab Day come in! In this episode, we're helping you achieve big things in a small timeframe. Beginning with the all-important checklist, we're taking you through the essential steps of planning a wedding in three months, which will also come in very handy for any couples who are lagging behind on their to-do lists.

Wedding dilemma: A listener writes, “My fiancé and I got engaged about two months ago and we’ve had a lovely time celebrating so far. My problem is that I think his daughter is feeling quite left out. She’s 13 and we get on really well so I know she’s OK with us getting married, but she just doesn’t seem like herself since we got engaged. I get the feeling that she thinks we’ll be so busy with the wedding that we won’t have time for her. Any idea how we can make her feel more included? She’s not really into clothes or makeup so I don’t think she’ll be interested in wedding dress shopping or being a bridesmaid." Our advice for this listener, and indeed anyone in a similar position, is to chat to the family member in question, aad find a role within the wedding that they're comfortable with and excited about!

Something to do when you're not planning your wedding: In this episode, Celina tries to convince Claire to pay a leisurely weekend visit to her chosen garden centre, with mixed results!
