Special Guest - Suede - Mat Osman

Welcome to episode 75 of Off The Beat & Track Podcast with me Stu Whiffen.

This episodes special guest is the wonderful Mat Osman of Suede.

I met with Mat at The WeWork Building in London, where he talked about growing up in the Sussex commuter town of Haywards Heath in the 80’s, clubbing in Brighton as a 15 year old with future Suede bandmate Brett Anderson, moving to London for University and the rise and fall of the band in the 90’s.

Finally, we learn how Mat dealt with Suede’s hiatus between 2003 – 2010, their renaissance and what its like to play Joy Division and The Cure djing in China.

This one’s a cracker! I hope you enjoy it as much I did recording it.
