Ep. 289 - Sam Teskey (The Teskey Brothers)

Sam Teskey is founding member of the Grammy nominated Australian blues and soul band, The Teskey Brothers, alongside his brother Josh. Their debut album, Half Mile Harvest, was nominated for Best Blues and Roots Album at the 2018 ARIA Awards. They followed up with the album Run Home Slow in 2019, which debuted at #2 on the Australian Albums Chart and was nominated for seven ARIA Awards. Their new album, The Winding Way will be released in June and it’s first single, Oceans of Emotions is out now. Throughout their career, Sam has been an integral part of the band's songwriting and production process, often credited as the producer and engineer of their albums. The Teskey brothers are currently on tour in the UK and Europe and will be playing the Black Deer Festival and Glastonbury, among others.

Sam Teskey is guest number 288 on My Time Capsule and chats to Michael Fenton Stevens about the five things he'd like to put in a time capsule; four he’d like to preserve and one he’d like to bury and never have to think about again .
