Jessica Fostekew is a comedian, actor, writer and podcast host. She was nominated for The Dave Edinburgh Comedy Award ‘Best Show’ for her show Hench, in 2019 which had a sold out, international tour. She has since appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI and Harry Hill’s Clubnite. As an actor she starred in the feature films Greed and Official Secrets, Dawn French’s The Trouble with Maggie Cole, Sharon Horgan’ and Holly Walsh's Motherland and Cuckoo on the BBC and Netflix. Jessica has written for Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and The News Quiz. She hosts her own podcast Hoovering all about eating, which in less than a year has racked up nearly half a million downloads, is regular co-host of huge podcast The Guilty Feminist and a regular host of BBC R4 Extra’s Comedy Club. And this year, Jess is taking her new show, Wench to the Edinburgh Fringe in August and will then be touring the country with the show till the middle of November. Jessica Fostekew is guest number 195 on My Time Capsule and chats to Michael Fenton Stevens about the five things she'd like to put in a time capsule; four she’d like to preserve and one she’d like to bury and never have to think about again .
