Ep. 191 - Bobby Crush

Bobby Crush is a pianist, songwriter, actor and television presenter who first came to public attention after winning the ITV talent show, Opportunity Knocks, six times in 1972. Bobby performed three seasons at the London Palladium guest starring with Jack Jones, Vic Damone and Dame Julie Andrews and his other theatrical roles include Liberace in Liberace's Suit, Dr Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Show and Billy Flynn in Chicago. Bobby’s greatest success as a songwriter was writing Keith Harris and Orville's hit "I Wish I Could Fly" which sold a quarter of a million copies. He has made 13 studio albums including his "Double Decker Party Album", which sold 100,000 copies and earned him a double gold disc. His most recent TV appearances have been in the ITV sitcom Benidorm, in which he played the character "Billy Sparkle".
