2021 was a certainly a transformative year for Aston Villa. The fairytale duo of Dean Smith and Jack Grealish were no more and the club received a Steven Gerrard facelift. On the field we've seen indifferent form at the end of one season and the start of another, although now with a new boss man in charge, Villa look leaner and meaner. Will Covid derail the progress in 2022 though?
