VH-XXS (Xtra Xtra Small), “The Beast”

Season 2, Ep. 2

Sue Schott, widow of pilot, aircraft builder and QAM donor, the late Graham Schott, speaks with Garry Hills about Graham’s passion for flying, which culminated in a 6 year project to build his own aeroplane - the Rand Robinson KR2, VH-XXS (Xtra Xtra Small), “The Beast” - which he and Sue flew extensively for many years, and which Graham donated to QAM just prior to his untimely death in 2013.

XXS - which Graham successfully landed on the Gatton bypass following an in-flight mechanical emergency - is currently on display in Hangar 2.
