Lockdown Love

Jen has a candid talk with an older, wiser man, her widowed father, David Kirsch who she’s been quarantined with for the past four months. The two discuss love, loss and moving on and how to find the love of your life, and after you find it and it doesn’t work out how you expected, if it can happen again with someone else.

After vowing to start dating men who are her equal and who share a similar lifestyle and work ethic, Jen leaves her house for patio drinks in the city and shoots her shot with a younger guy by sending him a shot to his table and finds out that old habits really do die hard. To get herself back on track, she turns to a little self-love and a refresher course on how to ask someone out with YouTube relationship expert Kimberly Moffit.

Tempted though you might be to meet up with whoever you’ve been chatting with during quarantine IRL, we're still at risk of getting COVID-19. Jen realizes she got too ahead of herself after leaving the house for her birthday weekend and takes a step back. She gets tangible tips from relationship psychologist Dr. Wendy Walsh on how to continue to develop deeper connections with both friends and potential partners, and how to have more realistic and meaningful dates, virtually. 

In this special PRIDE episode of Lockdown Love, Jen brings on her nearest and dearest pals Justin and Gallant for a playful talk on dating in the LGBTQ+ community. But before their scheduled recording last week, the day before her birthday, she was triggered by a blast from her past, throwing off the usually chatty host. For the first time ever, she bravely shares a story from her past and starts her new year around the sun with resilience and strength.
