Accepting his disability became the key to his happiness Conor mc Auley

At just 3 years old Conor Mc Auley from Mornington was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is a degenerative disease causing weakness and wasting away of the muscles, for many years Conor(now 18) struggled to accept his condition and had to overcome many challenges throughout his life. Many doctors and medical professionals told him he wouldnt be able to do many of the things we take for granted however he is defying all odds and living as rich a life as possible. He tells Sinéad that it was finally accepting his condition that was the key to unlocking his happiness.
