Local Cllrs react to a savage attack on 2 local lads on Bettystown beach on Thursday evening

Cllr Sharon Tolan and Cllr Stephen McKee joined us this morning to talk about the measures taken over the weekend to prevent scenes similar to the ones experienced in recent weeks, with fighting and excessive drinking on the street and beach. They say locals are horrified by a savage attack on 2 local lads who were simply walking on the beach on Thursday evening and say this latest incident futher highlights the need for a 24hr Garda station in the area
