Dermot O’Brien ‘King of the Accordion’
Presented and produced by Colm Corrigan, this programme takes a look back on the music career or Ardee’s most famous son, Dermot O’Brien.
Always remembered as Louth’s football winning captain of 1957, there was much more to this multi-talented man, and in the years which followed his football success, he cut out a hugely successful career through singing and his skills on the accordion.
This programme retraces that music success, with contributions from family members, fellow musicians and close friends.
