True Crime series starting tonight

On Tuesday 12th of October 1971 19 year old Una Lynskey from Ratoath was walking home from the bus stop on Porterstown Lane, Ratoath, close to Rathbeggan she never made it home. Her body was discovered on December 10th 1971, to this day her killer has never been caught, however the lives of three men in the local community were changed forever when they became suspects. Una’s story is one of three that features in a new ground breaking true crime series called Crimes and Confessions airing tonight on RTE one examining miscarriages of justice cases from 1970’s and 80’s drawing links between them. RTE reporter Mick Peelo joined Sinéad to explain the series.
