The importance of Autism Assistance Dogs

Joanna Briggs from Enfield Co. Meath knows all too well how importance autism assistance dogs are, her son Lucas who is 12 was diagnosed with Phelan Mc Dermid syndrome aged 3 and requires around the clock care, they received an assistance dog Elsa from Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland earlier this year and their lives have changed dramatically. Joanna told Sinéad exactly what level of care is needed for Lucas and why we should all support the AADI who are one of the chosen charities for Woodies heroes fundraising campaign.
