Niamh Fitzsimmons using art to raise awareness of suicide

In April 2017 Niamh Fitzsimmons an artist from Ashbourne tragically lost her brother Neil to suicide, Neil was battling depression and mental health issues which he hid from his family, Niamh is now remembering her brother by creating awareness around suicide, encouraging people to speak out if they are not feeling ok and she wants to raise funds for SOSAD the charity she turned to when she was in the grips of grieving after her brother's death. She is using her talents as an artist to raise money for the charity from proceeds made through online art classes.
