Louth community groups set up CritiCALL

With the increase in the amount of domestic violence cases during covid 19 lockdown, organisations like Drogheda women and children's refuge and Women's aid Dundalk have seen a huge demand for their services and are in need of help. Louth Volunteer centre along with Safe Ireland and local scouts groups have come together to form CritiCall a new support service helping these organisations continue their great work. There are 3 ways we can help through donations, offering up a holiday home or second property as a safe haven and by writing to victims offering words of encouragement and kindness. Louth Volunteer Centre manager Grainne Berrill explained how Criticall works and how we can help.
