Kind-hearted baker makes free birthday cakes for people in direct provision.

Franciska Ace felt the need to spread a little joy to vulnerable people living in direct provision or homeless hostels through her love of baking. During lockdown she and her boyfriend came up with consider it cakes a voluntary run organisation that bakes free birthday cakes for people living in direct provision. What started out as a small idea is spreading joy and happiness amongst people living on the margins of society. Franciska explained how it worked.....
