Father's plea for help for special needs son

David Butler from Kells appealed for help on today's show. His 8 year old son bear who has cerebral palsy as well as other medical needs has been bound to the house since September as they need a specially modified vehicle in order to transport him to medical appointments, therapy and to see relatives. Bear has outgrown his manual wheelchair and is now in a powered chair that is much bigger and bulkier so it won't fit in their family car. Despite appealing for government assistance and funding David feels bear is one of many of Ireland's forgotten children.
