Christy Dignam reflects on 40 years of Aslan

They took their name from the heroic lion in C.S. Lewis’s series of books chronicling the fictional land of Narnia (Aslan is the Turkish for ‘Lion’) and as time goes on this name becomes even more fitting for the band who emerged from working class Finglas to become one of the biggest Irish bands of all time. Christy Dignam in conversation with Sinéad about the life and times of Aslan as they celebrate their 40th anniversary
