An appreciation of St Brigid Bláthnaid Ni Chiofaigh

The woman who is known as a saint, goddess and mythological character for almost 1,500 years will be the focus of a national celebration next year but in Co Kildare a week long programme of events dedicated to commemorating St Brigid will begin on January 31st. in The RTE nationwide team takes a trip to Kildare this Friday to meet an interesting mix of people and find out more about this festival and the incredible woman who is at the centre.
