The Minister for agriculture is bringing about an agri food regulator which will strengthen the position of farmers, fishers and other suppliers in the agricultural and food supply chain against larger buyers with greater bargaining power. The legislation was debated in the Dail recently and Minister for Agriculture, food and marine Charlie McConalogue joins Joe to discuss.
