A fundraising appeal has been set up for a Tipperary mother who lost custody of her four children while holidaying in Tunisia.

Elaine Ryan travelled to Tunisia in 2019 with her husband on what was meant to be a family holiday.

However, her life changed forever when a knock to the door came and met a bailiff who granted her husband temporary custody of their children.

Her husband claimed that they were living in Tunisia and that when they arrived, Elaine decided to leave.
