New group launched in Limerick to encourage more women into politics
A new group has been launched in Limerick to increase the number of women participating in politics.
It’s a cross-party group made up of nine women councillors in Limerick City and County Council.
They are coming together to address issues encountered by women in the sector. Cllrs Bridie Collins, Elena Secas, and Sarah Kiely are among the members.
