Limerick Today- Councillor James Collins gives his view on the Government's new short-term letting rules and the Dublin/Shannon Airport Ryder Cup controversy

Only a fraction of the landlords who have rented out properties on Airbnb and other “home-sharing” websites have registered them under the Government’s new short-term letting rules.

The new rules have been in place since the 1st of July in an attempt at easing the housing crisis by freeing up available accommodation to address a shortage of rental properties.

Limerick City Council had received just two notifications as of last week

Gillian is joined of the line by Councillor James Collins to discuss the new letting rules and get his take on the Dublin/Shannon Airport Ryder Cup controversy..
