308: Lez-ssentials Booksmart

Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) dive into Booksmart for this Lez-ssentials episode, a recurring segment on the essential movies and TV shows in the lesbian canon. Booksmart is a 2019 American coming-of-age comedy film directed by Olivia Wilde (in her feature directorial debut) and starring Beanie Feldstein (Molly) and Kaitlyn Dever (Amy). We talk about Korean face masks, first times and how we can't decide if we're more George and Alan or Molly and Amy. Booksmart is the movie we wish we had when we were teenagers and we had a blast dissecting every perfect moment. Lez-ssentials comes complete with a Booksmart drinking game because every lesbian movie should be accompanied by heavy drinking. This episode also comes with an original Lez-ssentials song based off of the movie titled "One Night" featuring Karen Knox, Gwenlyn Cumyn, Danny Prikazsky, John Arrow, Zac Zuber-Zander and Andre Korrie. Follow along on Twitter: Lez Hang Out (@lezhangoutpod) and answer our Q & Gay at the end of every episode.
