with Clíona O'Leary

Welcome to Lennon Courtney Left Alone, with Guests.

For this series, we’re doing things differently. We’ve all been left alone too much this year, so we’ve asked some excellent women to join our podcast party.

This week, our guest is Clíona O’Leary, Deputy Head of TV Sport, RTE. Clíona first started in the sports department in RTE in 1997. In that time she has held the roles of Assistant Commissioning Editor, Editor on GAA/Soccer/Rugby/Olympics output and Away Team Leader on the Beijing and Rio Olympics. In recent years, Clíona has been interested in equality and social justice, particularly in the area of women’s sport, with a special focus on the positive contribution which Public Service Broadcasters can make in this regard. We are so grateful to Clíona for talking to us at Lennon Courtney Left Alone with Guests and look forward to sharing her insights into EDI and leadership with you our valued Lennon Courtney women.

Before you hit play, please take a minute and leave us a short positive review and give us five stars at this link. We know you hear it all the time but that’s because it really helps the podcast grow. We can’t do it without you.

Until next week...stay safe.
