Emi Nietfeld is a journalist, mental health activist, and author of Acceptance: A Memoir. After graduating from Harvard College in 2015, she worked as a software engineer, an experience she wrote about in her viral New York Times essay, “After Working At Google, I’ll Never Let Myself Love a Job Again.” Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Atlantic, Teen Vogue, Slate, and other publications. She lives in New York City with her family and stuffed animals.
