Hoovering - Episode 78: Live at the Marlowe Festival in Canterbury
Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering.
This week’s episode was recorded live at the lovely Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury as part of the Marlowe festival. My brilliant guests were the hilarious Jenny Eclair, Corrie’s Naomi Cooper-Davis and genius comedy writer Gaby Hutchinson-Crouch. From tomato ulcers to yoga poses, this one was very very fun.

And then we’re only on A WHOLE BLOODY TOUR from the Autumn. First dates are released here if you click where it says ‘bloody tour’ and dates are being added all time. This is big shit. I really want you to come and bring everyone you’ve ever heard of. The guests are going to be off the flipping charts.
JENNY ECLAIR has written a brilliant book called INHERITANCE. GABY HUTCHINSON-CROUCH has been writing on BBC R4’s ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM (which I’m on on 8th August) and has written a badass looking book called DARKWOOD. And follow NAOMI COOPER-DAVIS for all her work and look out for her on CORONATION STREET.
