Hoovering - Episode 166: Pip Hare
Welcome to HOOVERING, the podcast about eating. Host, Jessica Fostekew (Guilty Feminist, Motherland) has a frank conversation with an interesting person about gobbling; guzzling; nibbling; scoffing; devouring and wolfing all up… or if you will, hoovering.
This week’s guest is the extraordinary Pip Hare - a master Yachtswoman, professional sailor and journalist. She’s one of the very few women to complete the solo yacht race The Vendee Globe, in 95 days no less and we hoovered over zoom, in fun news, hoovering the exact freeze-dried bags of lunch she has to eat when she’s out at sea for months and months - made me feel like a real salty old dog.

Follow Pip immediately please on INSTAGRAM and TWITTER and is obviously brilliant on both - that’s where you’ll find everything she’s up to including links to follow her progress when she’s racing - which believe me, is so insanely impressive.
