As the ideologies of identity politics and critical race theory march through America’s institutions, even the homes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison aren’t safe. Some of these historic homes have taken seriously the legacy of the Founders and presented American history in a fair and unbiased manner. Unfortunately, others, with an overwhelming focus on historical grievances, neglect or malign the contributions of these remarkable individuals.
