Finding Happiness When Grieving with Helene Hipp

Sometimes grieving people will feel sad when they find themselves laughing because they interpret it as forgetting about their loved one.

In this episode, I am joined by Helene Hipp, an educator, grief and loss counselor, and mentor working with women in the second half of life to become who they were always meant to be. At the beginning of the pandemic, she became a certified Happiness Coach with Marci Shimoff’s Happy for No Reason program. Her business, Life’s Next Chapter, combines grief and happiness concepts in a positive, holistic way to assist women in opening to new possibilities.

Throughout this episode, Helene shares why she decided to combine the concept of grief and happiness in her workshops. She also shares the importance of saying thank you to people after they help you. Additionally, she shares some of the lessons that she learnt from working with palliative care patients.
