Tayla Clement

This may be the most incredible stories of resilience I have ever heard. Tayla Clement or as she likes to call herself, the girl who can’t smile, was born with an incredibly rare condition called Moebius syndrome, that gave her facial paralysis and club feet. The bullying, both physical and emotional through her school life is something you would not wish on your worst enemy.

Despite the continued setbacks in her life she has become world number 1 and a world record holder in shot-put for her Paralympic category. But what impresses me most with Tayla is her zest for life, continued self improvement and her ability to overcome any situation despite what medical professionals have said to her.

I was so touched and inspired by this conversation and I think you will too :)
