What makes an art form legitimate? A lot of people will say money, but long before it can make money, there needs to be hubs under which people can gather, and acknowledge it. One of the people that documented the culture, and co-created one of these hubs, in the form of a book named “Subway Art”, is the living legend Martha Cooper.
