Geektown Radio 183: 'KIN' Sound Designer Joseph Fraioli, UK TV News & Air Dates!

We return to the Geektown Radio podcast with lots of recommendations for new shows, film and games to watch and play as the nights turn darker and the days grow colder. We also have a brand new interview for you with Joseph Fraioli, Sound Designer on the sci-fi movie 'KIN'.

Joseph Fraioli has established a reputation for complex and fearless sonic experimentation with his critically acclaimed albums as Datach'i. In his sound design work for advertising and film, he strives to create an equally unique and immersive world that pushes boundaries and surprises listeners.

His latest project sees him developing the amazing magnetic sci-fi sound for Jonathan and Josh Baker’s sci-fi movie ‘KIN’ starring Jack Reynor, Myles Truitt, Dennis Quaid, Zoë Kravitz and James Franco. The film is described as a crime thriller with a sci-fi twist, and tells the story of an unexpected hero destined for greatness. Chased by a vengeful criminal (Franco) and a gang of otherworldly soldiers, a recently released ex-con (Reynor) and his adopted teenage brother (Truitt) are forced to go on the run with a weapon of mysterious origin as their only protection.

‘KIN’ recently had a release in UK cinemas, and can also be brought to stream from Amazon right now. DVD & Blu-ray discs are released 26th December 2018.
