Geektown Radio 310: ‘What If...?’, ‘Humankind’ Reviews, Renewals & Cancellations, UK TV Air Dates!

We are back with another Geektown Radio podcast, and I'm joined by Matt from Entertainment Talk to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming. Matt has had an eventful week and drops some news which also happens to tie into the series 'Love, Victor', which had its finale on Disney+ this week. He also chats about the final season of Netflix's wonderful comedy 'Atypical', along with the news that 'Black Canary' is getting her own film on HBO Max, and how that could fit into the wider DC world on-screen. Meanwhile, I review the new strategy game 'Humankind' which landed on PC this week, along with my thoughts on 'The Handmaid's Tale' finale. We also both chat through some very opposing view on the first two episodes of Marvel's 'What If...?' series.

In the TV news, we run through the various renewals, cancellations and pickups. In the news we chat about the potential resurrection of 'Manifest', Michael Schur tackling 'Field Of Dreams', and AMC already beginning to expand their 'Anne Rice' Universe. We also chat through Anthony Mackie returning to the MCU in 'Captain America 4', and a wider discussion about what we'd like to see moving forward in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
