Geektown Radio 225: MCM London Comic-Con, Apple TV+ 'See' Panel, TV News, Film News & UK Air Dates!

It is an epic bumper podcast on Geektown Radio this week as I'm joined by Bex from TristaBytes to chat about MCM London Comic-Con! We both spent a fabulous (if rather tiring) three days at the ExCel Centre in London checking out all manner of geekiness, from indie comic books, to card games about sandwiches, and some amazing panels. We talk 'Pennyworth', the new 'Alex Rider' series, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat's 'Dracula', and Netflix's 'The Witcher'. We also have the usual weekly tv and film news, along with a look at the next week on tv, and the panel from upcoming Apple TV+ series 'See'.

'See' is set in the far future, where a virus has decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see – who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed. Alfre Woodard (‘Luke Cage’) stars as Paris, Baba Voss’ spiritual leader, along with Yadira Guevara-Prip, Sylvia Hoeks, Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe, Christian Camargo, Hera Hilmar and Marilee Talkington.

The panel consisted of creator Steven Knight (‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘Taboo’), director Francis Lawrence (‘The Hunger Games’ films, ‘I Am Legend’), Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, and Archie Madekwe.
