Geektown Radio 247: 'After Life', 'Emergence', 'X-Com: Chimera Squad', Reviews, Plus TV Vs Coronavirus News, Renewals & UK TV Air Dates!

We are back for another lockdown edition of the Geektown Radio podcast, which sees me joined by Matt from Entertainment Talk in the co-host chair to review our week in tv and film, plus we chat about the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv, gaming and film, Matt has been playing the solo campaign in 'Call Of Duty', so gives us his thoughts on that. He also has been playing 'Doom Eternal', so delves into his review of the latest version of the long-running franchise. I have been playing another old game with a new version - 'X-Com: Chimera Squad', so I give you my impressions of that. We also review the second seasons of 'Manifest' & 'After Life', along with the opening episodes of 'Emergence' and 'Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector', and the phenomenal 8th episode of 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist'.

In the latest news, we run through the latest renewals and cancellations, along with discussing the latest developments in COVID-19 affected tv. This includes 'The Last Leg' with 'Locked Down Under', and Charlie Brooker's return to his 'Wipe' series. We also chat about a potential new female-led ‘Star Wars’ show on Disney+, and Apple's new comedy ‘The Shrink Next Door’ starring Will Ferrell & Paul Rudd.
