What made great service in 2020

Providing first-class service to clients has been a challenge during 2020 as the pandemic unfolded - but that doesn't mean it has been impossible.

Technology and communication were two of the most crucial elements to ensuring top-class client and adviser service, according to the panellists taking part in the Financial Adviser Service Awards 2020 podcast - which is sponsored by More2life.

Simoney Kyriakou, editor of Financial Adviser, was joined by Stuart Wilson, corporate marketing director at More2life, Verona Kenny, managing director of intermediary for Seven Investment Management, and Jamie Smith, partner at Foster Denovo to discuss the way service provision has changed during 2020.

They discussed how they had updated their processes to make sure service levels didn't drop as the pandemic spread and the UK went into lockdown and how client expectations had changed over the course of the year.
