The rise of multi-service firms

In this episode of the FTAdviser In Focus podcast we discuss the rise of multi-service firms. In recent months at least two law firms announced their intention to move into the financial advice space. Yet, the concept of a multi-service firm is not new. So why are more and more law firms expanding their remit into financial advice? Josh Richardson, Chartered financial planner at Informed Financial Planning, and Tahina Akther, barrister at Wild Cat Law, which is awaiting authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority to provide advice, discuss the issues.
