Remi Eriksen (DNV): – There are Silver Linings

Two key results of the fresh DNV report Energy Transition Outlook 2021: The energy mix is estimated to be 50/50 fossil/renewable in 2050, and a pandemic-level drop in emissions is required every year to limit the worst fallout of the climate crisis. Translated to global warming effects, this is alarming for the two degree target in the Paris Agreement. We will have 2.3 degrees of warming in 2100 unless there is a "revolution", according to Remi Eriksen, CEO of DNV.
