The Ramble: Bad defending in Germany, Premier League training and Djibril Cisse’s mathematical mission

The Bundesliga continues to deliver, with positive results for all of our beloved teams - Borussia Dortmund, Hertha Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen and FC Koln - as well as big wins for Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig. Such merciful release. 


Back in rumourland Mauricio Pochettino is making it clear that he’d be happy to manage in the Premier League again and those Rafa Benitez to Newcastle rumours just aren’t going away. 


Elsewhere we saw many pleasing examples of footballers with lockdown hair, there’s some confusing talk about kestrels and we review Goal 3. Oh. Goal 3. Everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves.
