The Preview Show: Roy Hodgson defends modern players, the restart gets nearer and Timo Werner to Chelsea?

While chaos has unfolded around us Chelsea have quietly gone about getting some impressive business done, with Timo Werner seemingly on the way, leading us to ask the question; just how handsome is he?

As the Premier League nears a return Southampton have looked at Ralph Hasenhuttl and decided “more of that please”, Roy Hodgson has been praising modern footballers and their responses to the current political situation, while Mike Ashley continues to be a silly sausage.

Away from all that serious nonsense Marcus introduces us to his Fulham hooligan firm and a trip down the Time Tunnel reminds us of Steve Kean’s not-actually-that-brief reign of terror at Blackburn Rovers. Simpler, if still very weird times.
