Mindfulness Fridays - Body Image

This topic is dear to my heart. I have always believed that all body image and weight loss stuff starts i the mind. I think we’re our own harshest critic, and having battled with eating disorders and body dysmorphia over the years i was really excited to get stuck into this topic. To be completely honest with you, had wasn’t so pumped about this one because neither of us are qualified therapists that specialise in discorded eating. And i want to say it here, none of our advice should replace that of a trained professional. 

In this episode we spoke about addictions, negative self talk and being conscious. Trigger warning, i also shared some of my own personal battles in this episode. At the end of our chat Jad will guide us through a “self compassion breath” exercise. 

I cant believe we’re half way through this 6 part meditation series!
