The Dave Weekly

It's the end of the series and we've got a delightfully smutty episode by way of an ear-tickling climax. Presenter Ben meets the towering talent that is Greg Davies, fresh off his new sitcom Man Down, and unveils an unlikely sexual fantasy fan site dedicated to Greg's seductive charms. And then, for a very happy ending, we go Gallic with lascivious French raconteur Marcel Lucont. Ooff.

If you're looking for happiness, look no further; Gyles Brandreth has the answer and it's yours for the price of a ticket or a book (he's fine with either). He's also had a rather interesting life from author and politician to comedian and actor. He's done it all. And if that wasn't enough we also have award winning comedian, sitcom star and writer and part time cyclist Holly Walsh. Well done us.

Freewheeling comedian Ross Noble is anything but linear. Even the most straightforward conversation takes a turn for the surreal. He's an absolute joy to behold. And what is there to say about Warwick? Hollywood, check. Award winning comedy, check. West end star, check. Is there anything he can't do? We also have Israel's answer to Lady Gaga, Meital Dohan, on for a chat about style and fashion. Ben is in his element.

It's a weird and wonderful episode for you to feast on this week. Bill Bailey (yes BILL BAILEY!) gives us a lesson on Chinese cuisine and the proper protocol for leberating owls and Andrew Lawrence gives one of the most honest and hilarious accounts of comedy we've ever been witness to. Definitely worth a listen. And I'd say that even if we weren't contractually obliged.

Dave Gorman has a brand new TV show and it's bloody brilliant! Yes it's on Dave so we're contractually obliged to say that, but it genuinely is. Not that we talk about that much, a lot of time is spent talking about being Gorman-esque. The one and only Andy Zaltzman is also in the house, unfortunately not bearing gifts like we'd come to expect with the Zaltzman family.

The legendary Ed Byrne and the Moustachioed maestro Mike Wozniak spent time out of their busy stand up schedules to shoot the breeze with our immaculately dressed host Ben Shires. Among other things they discuss how to build the perfect Comedian... Take a dash of Russell... add a sprinkling of Byrne... you get the picture.

So... Edinburgh's comedy-athon is in full swing... Fosters newcomer nominee and supporting star of Seann Walsh World Romesh Ranganathan. We also chatted to Rob Auton, winner of this years most prestigious award Dave's Joke of the Fringe and if that wasn't enough Museum of Curiosities comedian Dan Schreiber talks facts and findings. It's a packed little show.

Sam Simmons is back on our shores and he's still talking sh*t, only this time he's doing it to the paying public. We caught up with the Mustacheod mischief maker in a dimly lit Soho theatre basement. Hilarity ensued. And if that wasn't enough, and you can never have too much comedy, the fast talking and fast thinking Robin Ince came up to Dave towers for a fast paced chat to put the world right. #funny

When faced with the intelligence and comedic prowess of Rory McGrath we thought we'd start the conversation off with something erudite and witty... unfortunately all we could muster was a long conversation about faeces. And to make things worse Brett Goldstein then came in to talk about smut and pornography straight after. Oh dear.
