Journalist and author Troy Bramston has spent a significant amount of time diving into lives of politicians and the biography recently released by Penguin Books on Bob Hawke, one of Australia's most popular political leaders, is no exception. Bramston talks about the journey of writing a biography, what made Hawke so effective as a politician and the personal flaws that dogged the former PM for much of his life.
