Crime Stoppers Victoria has teamed up with Victoria Police and BankVic to produce a new podcast series, ‘Spotting a Scam’. Episode one focuses on Identity Theft.

Identity theft is a huge concern with Scamwatch reporting that Australians have lost nearly 8 million dollars to identity theft scams this year alone.

Ella Gvildys from Crime Stoppers Victoria interviews experts, Detective Superintendent Jane Welsh of Victoria Police Cybercrime division and Shane Kuret, Chief Information Officer at BankVic to help us further understand identity theft.
