England are in a strong position at the end of day 2 against India in Ranchi. Ollie Robinson scored his maiden test 50 to take England's 1st innings score to 353, before the 20 year-old Shoaib Bashir blew through India's top order, taking 4 wickets. Elsewhere, James Anderson took his 697th test wicket by removing Indian Captain Rohit Sharma, and Tom Hartley is now the top wicket taker of the series with 18. A late unbroken partnership of 42 between Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav means that India will begin on day 3 at 219-7, 134 runs behind.
