PODCAST EXTRA - UCC Students Without Food
•
UCC Welfare Officer Caoimhe Walsh explains how the Students’ Union relaunched it’s food bank this week in response to the chronic financial hardship students are experiencing as a result of the accommodation crisis, rising rents and costs of living associated with being a student.
After 50 minutes of being open the food bank was completely empty.
Catriona Twomey of Cork Penney Dinners explains the seriousness of the situation.
